Sturdy alloy construction utilizes a wall thickness of at least 1.5 mm with precision robot welded seams and punch riveted trim for serious durability that is completely dust/waterproof.

All the corners on this German engineered side case are beveled to improve structural rigidity and aesthetics while eliminating sharp edges. Heavy-duty stainless steel latches are used to fasten the hinged lid and secure the luggage itself to the rack. Optional locking cores can be added in each latch to keep the lid locked, but also to prevent theft of the side case as the luggage will then lock to your side carrier.

Each corner is reinforced with nylon caps to improve durability and protection from ground contact. Stainless steel latches for the lid & to secure the case on the side rack work with or without optional locking cores. Optional locking cores are available to lock the case lid & the side case to the rack for theft prevention. 4 Tie down points on lid for securing soft luggage or additional accessories.

Important Note: Don't lubricate the lock cylinders with oil. This will combine with dust and sand and wear on the inside of the cylinder and can eventually destroy the lock.
