The versatile FK12 FortyForty Side Table stackable was designed by Ferdinand Kramer for the acclaimed German company e15. With a strong foundation in architecture and design, e15 is a luxury brand that stands for progressive design that uses high-quality materials and innovative, handcrafted construction methods. They have an open approach to diverse cultures and disciplines and work in close cooperation with a select group of artists, designers and architects. One such professional although posthumously is Ferdinand Kramer, a modernist architect who was also an influential minimalist designer.
The company has worked closely with his family and the Kramer archive to re-create many of his iconic designs. The FK12 FortyForty Side Table stackable is a fine example of Kramer's multi-purpose furniture that also expresses lightness and elegance with its geometric shape. Originally designed in 1945, it is constructed from a powder coated steel frame with a removable square tray that can be inserted at the base to function as a shelf or on the top to function as a tabletop surface. This highly flexible and stackable side table 40cm square has a multitude of possibilities: it can be a stand-alone piece or combined to fit perfectly into a whole variety of living spaces. This table is in very good but used condition and being offered at a reasonable price but offers welcome.
